Open the barn doors at Smokey Wood Acres and let us introduce ourselves, Lenore & Jared Oler, we invite you to bring your passion for horses and sport to our multidisciplinary facility.
We are both born and raised Calgarians who were lucky enough to spend time growing up in the beautiful district of Springbank.
Jared is a Calgary Fire Fighter and handy-man extraordinaire who has been introduced to the world of horses by his wife. Lenore has been riding and caring for horses since she was a child and spends her time as a barrel racer. Lenore's family has been instrumental in her riding endeavours and she continues to work alongside of her sister and parents during their horse adventures.
Smokey Wood Acres is based on a shared love of the country lifestyle and the gift of animals in our lives. Our team will care for your horses as if they were their own. The facility will allow you to feel confident that your four-legged friends are being looked after by a people who care and know about our human and horse clients.
Our facility includes a heated indoor barn, arena, wash rack as well as an outdoor arena and round pen with access to beautiful riding trails. We offer pasture and paddock board and we are able to customize care plans for each horse based on their needs and activity program.
